- Notes
- EUB Decision 98-12 on application no. 1010762 by Federated Pipe Lines to construct and operate approximately 27 km of pipeline to transport crude oil from existing facilities in Lsd 8 Sec 20 Twp 76 Rge 9 W6M (Valhalla) to a proposed terminal in Lsd 4 Sec 33 Twp 78 Rge 8 W6M (Doe Creek); the oil would be stored in tankage and then injected into the Federated Pipe Lines (Northern) Ltd. pipeline which was under construction, for transmission to Edmonton utilizing connecting downstream pipelines; Peace Pipe Line Ltd. objected on the basis that the three Valhalla batteries were already connected to Peace's pipeline system which provides crude oil transportation to the same Edmonton markets; Peace requested that the Board review to determine if the proposed pipeline would represent needless proliferation;
